Have you determined that Fat Bear is hosting a domain that you'd like to purchase?  If you're interested in purchasing a domain that is owned by one of our customers, we will pass on the request to our customer only if the following conditions are met:

1. Make a firm offer.  We do not pass on inquiries such as "I'm interested in buying your domain.  Interested?"
2. Make a realistic offer.  We recommend you visit an independent domain appraisal website such as swiftappraisal.com.  When you visit this website, you'll be asked questions to help determine the value of the domain.  We recommend that you follow the following procedure:
   • Low Estimate - answer the questions reasonably, but tending toward low estimates.  This is typically how buyers want to value domain names.
   • High Estimate - answer the questions reasonably, but tending toward high estimates.  This is typically how sellers want to value domain names.
   • Average - take the average of the low and high estimates.  This is typically a fair offering price.
3. Provide contact information.  Please provide your full name, address, and phone number.  We do not pass this information to our clients.  We require this because anonymous bidders, in our experience, are less likely to actually buy a domain if the offer is accepted.  We use this information to confirm your identity in the event the domain owner agrees to sell the domain to you.  Your privacy is assured: even after the sale, we do not provide your contact information to the domain owner.

Our customer who are using Fat Bear to screen offers have agreed to use Fat Bear as an escrow agent for all domain transfers on successful negotiation of domain name purchasing.  So, you can be sure that any purchase you make will actually result in your owning the domain upon payment.
