Fat Bear Careers

Fat Bear's business model is simple: deliver the Maximum for the Minimum.  The same is true for our employees.  We strive to give you the maximum opportunities in a no-risk environment.  Have a job already?  No problem.  You can work during your own time.

Our career program for you as a Fat Bear partner is really simple and straight forward.  You can use Fat Bear as your billing agent, customer-care center, and provider of various resources including a toll-free phone extension (* see details below), clip-art and photo libraries, server resources, a presence on our website, an e-mail address, and more. Any business you transact in this context gives you the incredibly high rate of 60% of net proceeds.

There are only two things that cost you money.  And, even these are optional:

  • If you want them, we issue you business cards and ask that you pay for the printing cost ($25 for 250 full-color, 2-sided cards with your name, title and extension on them).
  • If you use the toll-free extension for other than Fat Bear business, we require you to pay for your personal calls. The per-minute rate is 6.9¢ for incoming calls, 4.4¢ additional (11.3¢ total) for calls forwarded to your phone; you provide your credit card number for automated monthly billing (billing on the 1st of the month for the previous month's activity). If you use the toll-free number for Fat Bear business only, it costs you nothing.

The idea is to create a win-win situation for everyone: You, Fat Bear, and our customers.  If this is something that sounds good to you, please contact us for more information.  Please share with us your skills and how you think you can contribute to Fat Bear.

* Your toll-free number extension is controlled by a web control panel where you set up what phone number(s) the extension forwards to, what email address(es) a copy of the phone message is sent to, and what time of day and day of week different phone numbers are used. You're in complete control over when and where forwarding happens. When you do get a forwarded phone call, you will hear the introduction that tells you the caller's phone number (also on Caller ID) and asks you to press any key to accept the call. If you don't want to take the call, just hang up and it will go to voicemail. If you do want to take the call, we ask that you say something like "Fat Bear, Pat speaking."
